More model informationScouts monument on the wine market square in Poysdorf. The two scouts are located on a slab resting on a 2.5 meter high iron column. At the bottom 10 stones with bronze plaques with the names of the 10 cadastral communities (not in the 3d model). The two men carry a huge grape hanging on a pole. The scouts adorn the coat of arms of the municipality since the market elevation of Poysdorf. The representation alludes to a narrative from the 4th book of Moses. Joshua and Caleb brought back from their scouting expedition after 40 days a vine with a bunch of grapes, which was so large that it had to be carried by two men on a pole. The monument by Gerald Lechner was unveiled in 1999.
