まだ蓄音器が高価だった大正時代に、独自の設計でヒットした国産の商品。秘密はレコードを回転させる仕組みにあり、当時一般的だったゼンマイを用いずに手動とすることで部品を減らし、安価で壊れづらい商品を実現した。
In the Taisho era, at a time when phonographs were still expensive, this domestically manufactured phonograph became a major hit due to its unique design and affordable price. The secret was in the mechanism for turning the record: instead of using a spring, which was common at the time, the user turned the record manually. By doing so, the number of parts was reduced, resulting in a product that was cheap and durable.
