More model informationDetail of the neoclassical female figure facade at 31–33 High Street, Southampton, Hampshire. The former Bank of England building was built 1940 in a neoclassical architectural style. Southampton’s Lady of Bank figure replicates the one found on the Bank of England building on Threadneedle Street, City of London. Premises now is a Locally Listed Building in Southampton but is currently boarded up. It was used as a bar for many years formerly known as the Walkabout, Wahoo and most recently Elements.
