This model is the stern of what is believed to be a landing craft shipwreck located in the Quicksands area of Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.University of Miami and NOAA researchers documented the site during a project in June 2021. Project funding was provided through a Grant from NOAA’s Office of Ocean Exploration.
