Created by Charles Robb, the sculpture depicts Governor Charles La Trobe stood upon his head - an inversion of the traditional pose and installation of a patriachal, settler colonial political leader.
The work was provided to La Trobe via Robb and the Australian Government Cultural Gifts Program in 2006, and is located near the Health Sciences precinct of the Bundoora Campus of La Trobe University.
