More model informationThe pedestal or lapik of a statue was found later than the Ganesha statue above it. It was found in 1956 at klampok, Jiwut, Nglegok, Blitar, East Java. The most interesting from this object is because on the four sides of this lapik there are also carvings a script in Old Javanese and Old Javanese language, which is a connection to the “news” on the back of the Ganesha statue that should above it. This script is palaeographically dated to the 9th century AD, very typical of the reign of Balitung.
