Large Arch is a sculpture by Henry Moore.
The large outdoor sculpture is nearly 20 feet tall (5.9m) and is located in a plaza in front of the Bartholomew County Public Library, in Columbus, Indiana.
I.M.Pei, the architect of the library, suggested the sculpture, which was approved by the library board and purchased by J.Irwin Miller in 1971.
The sculpture is situated in a plaza between the Pei library and Eliel Saarinen’s First Christian Church. Pei desired a large work of art to decorate the public plaza and unify the two buildings.
