More model informationThis unusual macehead is a ‘Largs-type’ dating from the early Bronze Age. While its Neolithic counterparts exhibit a parallel sides perforation and a highly polished surface, this macehead has an hour-glass shaped perforation and the surface has been incised and pick dressed.
