Late Roman Ridge helmet - Concesti3D ModelNoAI
A helmet from Concesti, Romania, found in a nomadic burial. The helmet is similar in construction to the Burgh Castle helmet. Despite the seemingly six-segmented dome construction, it actually consists of only four bowls, on which two side plates are superimposed - intended to strengthen the strength of the entire structure. It is decorated with crossed pattern lines and rings. The iron is covered with a layer of silver 1 mm thick. The crest of the helmet is made of bronze. There are small holes at the base of the helmet dome and near the protective cheek pads for attaching the leather lining.
