The piece was inspired by the threshold in between architectural space and nature in Scandinavia. There are lots of space and design giving expression to this characteristic. For example, people could perceive and interact with the light through the glass ceiling, the shadow created by the plants, with a relatively strong feeling of surrounded by the nature without getting access to it. The layered spatial elements provide spiritual communication without physical contact, where the thresholds happen and make a difference. The AR object would like to play the role as a threshold with gradually changed layer distance and transparency, interacting with the body movement and the perception of experience. For instance, when going through it, people might leave their body behind and reach noses to the next layer or even the layer after.
