This is a L’Edifice model, showing the Louvre at the time of Philippe August. It’s based on an idealized drawing of F. Hoffbauer, drawn around 1362.

L’Edifice is a beautifull & detailed French building-set, sold by Maison Méricant (Paris) from 1921~1953. It contains wooden parts and (themed) printed cardboard, changing over time. With the many unique parts, fablous buildings could be created.
