The Liang Lisaibam cave is located in Aru, Maluku, Indonesia (MAHS-IDN-MLK-ARU-AUT-S-001). It forms a tunnel with a large shell midden at one end. Carvings are found along the easterly stretches of the south and north walls, and along both sides of the exterior face of the west entrance. While some are clearly modern - including grafiti in Latin script - others, including these deeply incised depictions of footprints, may be considerably older.
