LiDAR + UAV model of Menara

LiDAR and UAV-derived SfM model of the tallest tropical tree in the world, a Shorea Faguetiana of the Dipterocarpaceae family coined “Menara”, located in the Danum Valley Conservation Area in North Borneo. See https://www.eci.ox.ac.uk/news/2019/0408.html. Data taken in August 2018. It was measured by climber Unding Jami with a tape measure as being 100.8 meters tall. The tree was discovered by colleagues Chris Chandler and Doreen Boyd of the University of Nottingham.
