3D Model

For this Project we decide to use a point cloud model in order to have a representation that use the existing landscape without 3D modelling it, with the help of a laser scan, the site was scan, providing the basis to continue with the visualization.

The design site is located at the lake’s shoreline, where Zürich’s district Wollishofen covers a hill range just beside the lake. This model represent one of the 6 intervention on the site: The Urban Beach

The Island Landiwiese Badi Mythenquai A new tramline Rowing Clubs

The Urban Beach – forms a new location for public events close to the city. Can easily be transformed to a stage. Otherwise a swimming pool in summer, an ice-skating surface in winter and year round a place to have lunch or enjoy the evening sun with a view onto the city.
