St Gwyndaf’s church, Llanwnda (near Goodwick/Fishguard), Pembrokeshire, Wales.
Llanwnda is in a coastal area, the burch being about 600 metres from the sea. There is no surviving early documentry evidence for the presence of a church here but eight pieces of sculpture dating from the 7th-11th centuries have been found here indicating this was a church of local importance. Most of the carved stones were found during restoration/rebuilding of the church in 1881. Each stone in the model is annotated to show its present location and date. Annotation 7 is for a cross carved stone which is today located on the crossroads (grid ref: SM 9368 3919) by Llanwnda cemetery.
Scaling: each of the stones in this model are not scaled correctly in relationship to each other.
