Achubodd bad achub Dewi Sant dri chriw o’r VERNICOS GEORGIS, a hofrennydd Sea King o RAF Breudy gludwyd y goroeswyr oedd ar ôl i ddiogelwch mewn hofrennydd.

Arolygwyd gan ddefnyddio ffotogrametreg ar 07/05/2024 i greu cofnod sylfaenol o’r llongddrylliad.

The tugboat VERNICOS GEORGIS was wrecked in October 1981 on the coast of Pembrokeshire, west of Solva, while on route from Liverpool to Greece, NPRN 273259 https://coflein.gov.uk/en/site/273259/

The Saint David’s lifeboat saved three crew from the VERNICOS GEORGIS, and a Sea King helicopter from RAF Brawdy airlifted the remaining survivors to safety.

Surveyed using photogrammetry on the 07/04/2024 to create a baseline record of the shipwreck.
