Welcome to the Lone Pine Motel
Built in 1953, this hidden gem in the dense forest was originally the Lonely Pine Motel. However, only days after the grand opening the neon ‘ly’ went out and initial inspection indicated the entire sign would need to be replaced in order to fix the absent letters.
That was not in the budget of the new motel, and thus the Lone Pine Motel was born.
The Lone Pine is located near several attractions here in the wilds: * Hiking any of six amazing trails. * Kayaking the Siska River. * Three fine camp spots nearby. * Horse riding on the flatland.
The Motel itself boasts the most delicious coffee in the Pines - yes, better than Fire Watch Tower 3. Satellite TV and WiFi in your room, and a friendly staff to care and cook for you.
Directions: 1. Take exit 255 off Interstate 21 for Rural Route 18. 2. Rural route 18 to State 40. 3. State 40 to Park Road 13 which leads right to the front door.
