Long Meg monolith with rock art, CumbriaYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
My attempt at the photogrammetry of Long Meg at Little Saltkeld, Cumbria. She is a 3.8 metre tall red sandstone monolith positioned 18 metres southwest of the stone circle know as The Daughters. The surface of one side was carved with cups, rings, grooves, spirals and concentric circles probably dating Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age.
Photographs taken June 2017.
