Here is one of the eleven miniature vessels that were excavated at the Long Swamp site (Cherokee County, Georgia). It was deposited in an unusually large refuse pit sometime between A.D. 1100 - 1200. The exact function of this miniature vessel is still a mystery. Could it have been a childs toy? Perhaps the product of someone learning ceramics? What do you think?
