More model information

Skeletons of the right wings of seven different bird species. Scene created by Jaimi Gray (oVert team). Mesh files (see below) were used to separate, reposition, and colour wing elements in Blender and Meshlab. Evolutionary tree created in Blender.

Penguin segmentation and mesh files by Jaimi Gray using Avizo (version 2020.1). Other species segmentations and original mesh files by Karina Riddell using Volumegraphics VGStudioMax 3.3. More details about each model here.

Scanning and modeling of these specimens funded by the oVert project at the University of Florida (NSF DBI 1701714, https://tinyurl.com/oVertwiki).

CT scan data of these specimens are available on Morphosource.
