This stone was orginally record as having 27 cupmarks. But good evening light on the visit showed that there were far more, but apart from the groups of conjoined cups nothing more than cups. The model reveals far more and I have tallied 52 cup marks & of these possibly 10 are ringed, with two enclosed by an oval ring, one of these being ringed, two groups of three are conjoined and there are further grooves.
The surface is very eroded with the NW half barran but for 1 cup and the NE third showing evidence of spalling. It may have been covered with carvings once.
Evidence also of more than one phase with a cup clearly superimposed on the ring of an adjacent cup plus the oval seems to make use of another ring.
