Loups’s Hill 1, Cotherstone Moor 3D Model
A large rock art panel on the north facing slope of Loups’s Hill, Battle Hill Range, Cotherstone Moor, County Durham, Northern England. Features an arrangement of cup marks and a large cup & ring near the top of the stone. Discovered by Paul Brown in 1993 and designated LOU 3 in Brown and Brown 2008. Beckensall and Laurie 1998 call it Rock 9 but it has now become ERA-1701 in England’s Rock Art database. This is also a Scheduled Monument. More information about this panel is found in Lymer 2015.
