Carved outcrop on Loups’s Hill, near Cotherstone, County Durham.
This area of outcrop sits above Toby Well and is referenced 8 in Beckensall & Laurie’s 2008 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale’ and ‘Lou 7b’ in the Brown’s 2008 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art in the Northern Dales’. NADRAP recorded the stone ‘Loup’s Hill 3’ in 2006. All three archives record a simpler design to the one visible on this model.
