The Ash 12.7 is a russian assault rifle specifically designed to be used in close quarters combat situations. It fires an extremely powerful .50 caliber round that can easily penetrate armoured targets.

The rounds lethality quickly falls off with range to potentially prevent collateral damage/ unwanted casualties.

The rifle has been in service since 2011.
