Here’s a fun fact about the weapon:

The reason the Messer exist is because medieval German lords (The Franks) decided peasants couldn’t use swords, So the peasants found a work around by making really big knives as knives at the time were defined by the handle and the blade and so that is the reason the Messer exist Today.
