SIG MCX Legacy is the first generation of MCX family rifles. Manufactured by SIG Sauer. Short stroke piston. 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge. Although the design is somewhat similar to the AR platform, this rifle does not require a buffer tube, so it can be folded stock. It is compatible with the AR15 lower receiver, and accessories such as: stock (if the buffer tube is installed), pistol grip, magazines, trigger mechanism, bolt release button, and charging handle.
