Luke is a huge fan of gaming, so when the government began creating Big Lovable Organic Buddies (BLOBs) for gamers to defend the earth with, he was one of the first to get one. They are man made sentient beings crafted with Icetopic crystals found beneath the earth, due to them being the same material as B.L.O.B, it can control the crystals telepathically and use them as weapons. It can apparently control anything the crystals have touched
