More model informationLuna is an original character loosely inspired by Lara Croft. She is a dragon-like, mischievous creature who loves getting into fights. The character was a personal challenge to combine my texturing, sculpting, and technical skills into a single project. Luna was sculpted in ZBrush, with retopology and UVs done in Maya, and I applied my recent research in Substance Painter for texturing. The character is rigged in Blender. The challenge with rigging was to create a humanoid rig that could use any humanoid animation, for example, from Mixamo, while also animating the non-humanoid parts of the model, such as the tail. Lighting and rendering were done in Unity.
