The experts reckon this is an Iron Age or Bronze Age Promontory fort. It has been cut across by up to 6 bank and ditches. The hillshades produced from the Digital Elevation model show round houses and other unknown features. Currently there is no known plan to investigate this feature further by Archaeologists.
