More model informationThe gilded copper frontale in Lyngsjö is the only surviving in the DIocese of Lund. Through a combination of craft scientific analyses, stile historic examination and dendrochronology the frontal can be dated with high probability to the period 1120-1128. It was most probably made for the church in Lyngsjö, or maybee the church was built for the frontal and the altar relics. Transdisciplinary research has been ongoing for several years in cooperation with the National museu of Denmark. Photography and model: Kalle Melin
