M84 Stun Grenade "Flashbang"

This M84 stun grenade, colloquially know as the “flashbang”, is the current standard issue in United States Military and S.W.A.T. law enforcement. The M84 features a magnesium-based pyrotechnic charge inside a thin aluminum case, contained within a perforated cast steel body. On detonation the auditory and visual elements escape via the perforations in the cast outer body. It has recieved a cult status amongst video games for its appearance in almost all major third & first person shooters, particularly the Call of Duty franchise, due to its non-lethal blinding capability in combat.

This model is my first personal project outside of university in an attempt to practice new modelling techniques and applications such as baking high to low poly assets, custom alphas, PBR texturing and understanding how to operate modifiers. Ultimately, I am very happy with the final outcome.
