This is a machine-made medicine bottle found on an excavation at the McClure farmstead. The farmstead was part of Miller Grove, a freed African-American community located in the Shawnee National Forest. The excavation was performed by an SIUC Field School in 2019. The field school was lead by Director of the Center for Archaeological Investigations, Dr. Mark J. Wagner.
