This is a photogrammetry test from Mackenzie King Estate in Gatineau Park (http://ncc-ccn.gc.ca/places-to-visit/gatineau-park/mackenzie-king-estate).
The stones of these ruins from the Centre Block of Parliament following the 1916 fire of Canada’s first Parliament Buildings.
Photos were taken on a Nikon D5300 DSLR with a AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens. Unfortunatly the sun was out.
Photogrammetry was done in Bentley Context Capture as volumetric tiles. The .OBJ tiles, textures, and .MTL files were exported, and the .OBJ and .MTL files were unified in Microsoft’s 3D Builder application. The textures remained as 27 seperate .JPEGs (not great - seems to cause instability).
I’ll try with additional ruins on better, cloudy days, as well as combining laser scanning with the photogrammetry, and creating one texture.
