I had a lot of fun doing this Mat! I originally started with the intention to make a Mad Max parody because of the pun, but I added in some Terminator along the way once I figured out how to use the Damaged Hull smart material. I guess that if I parody two things, then I have plausible deniability for if both companies try to sue me. That, or the two will have to duke it out for the right to my nonexistent money, as I’m a broke college student. Anyway, although I went off my original concept, I discovered a lot of new things in Substance Painter along the way, like how to use tessellation, displacement, and parallax occlusion maps.
Regardless of if I win or not, I do hope the pun that led to this little apocalypse survivor Mat is amusing to everyone. Although, it’s debatable how much survive is applicable to Mat here, as I’ve been rather horrible to him. I mean, look how chapped his lips are!… Oh, and the gaping holes in his body, that too.
