Adjacent to the Kuching Waterfront, the Main Bazaar is the oldest street in the city and the heart of old Kuching. A majority of Kuching’s antique and handicraft shops, and traditional businesses are found here. Many of the shops have been in the same families for generations. The parallel street running in between Main Bazaar and St Thomas Cathedral Grounds is Carpenter Street.
