More model information

The Sternocleidomastoid (Red) (Sternon = chest, Cleido = clavicle, Mastos = breast) is the most distinctive feature of the front portion of the neck. The coordinated movement of the left & right muscle pulls the head forward. While the separate muscle movement rotates the head to the opposite side.

At the back the biggest muscle mass is the Trapezius (Blue). It is known as the “strength of the neck”. It is responsible for side bending, extending and turning the head - it also elevates shoulders and rotates the shoulder blade.

  • The landmarks will help you to gain clear understanding of the neck region.
  • The different poses will help you understand the shapes in 3d.
  • Easy to use as a base for your bust studies.
  • The simplified shapes make it easier to understand the relationships between landmarks.
  • Models can be used as 3d printed reference.
  • Blender base File Included.
