Inspired by series of work done by Bob and Roberta Smith, especially Make Art Not War (1997), I have decided to challenge classic weapon texturing styles and use a watercolour painting that i usually considered soft and delicate.
In the past few weeks, I’ve been rediscovering my approach to 3d modelling and texturing. As a lot of art exhibitions got cancelled due to Convid-19 lockdown a lot of work, especially more classical ones like painting and sculpture can not be presented in the usual way.
I come from fine art background, but i have abounded classical drawing and painting for digital art, this was an excellent opportunity to take a step back and create a mixed media piece. Where i printed UV maps and hand-painted them, scanned them and apply them to digital 3d model.
