Mammoth tooth

Mammoth teeth are unique, with chewing surfaces that resemble shoe tracks. This particular tooth, from the Peace Region in Western Canada, is over 45,000 years old. Because this tooth is often used in outreach events, periodic digital imaging will allow us to notice changes over time in order to evaluate any deterioration or preservation issues resulting from that use.
