The mantled guereza (Colobus guereza) is an Old World monkey that lives in west central and east Africa. It is diurnal and arboreal, found in both deciduous and evergreen forests. The head and body length averages 61.5 centimetres for males and 57.6 centimetres for females. It mainly feeds on leaves and fruit, but its diet is quite variable: It may eats bark, wood, seeds, flowers, petioles, lianas, aquatic-plants and arthropods.
