La maquette de l’éléphant d’Asie a été réalisée en 1911 par le taxidermiste Philippe Lacomme du Muséum d’histoire naturelle de Toulouse. Elle a servi de modèle avant de réaliser la naturalisation du spécimen. Sculpture en plâtre. Sur le socle est gravé le texte : “Ph. Lacomme 1911 éléphant d’Asie en fureur Toulouse “. The model of the Asian elephant was made in 1911 by the taxidermist Philippe Lacomme of the Toulouse Natural History Museum. It was a model before the specimen was naturalized. Plaster sculpture. On the base is engraved the text: “Ph. Like the 1911 Asian elephant in fury Toulouse. Height: 45 cm | Width: 58 cm | Depth: 22 cm | Weight: 5.79 kg
