“Anne Seymour Damer, the first female British sculptor of note, carved this portrait of her “friend and mother,” as homage as deeply felt as it is severely styled. A true woman of the Enlightenment, Lady Ailesbury counted among her close friends the intellectuals Horace, Walpole, and David Hume; she kept company with poets, actors, and the artists Angelica Kauffman and Joshua Reynolds.” Captured at the Cincinnati Art Museum, on 27-JAN-24 using a Pixel 6 Pro cellphone capturing video and meshed with Reality Capture after extracting 328 images.
