March17 Torso study: Cervical Region (Neck) 3D Model
Tonights Scuplt on the Cervical Region of the Vertebral Column (Spine) a.k.a the Neck which features the vertebrae C1-C7.
The top two vertebra are a unique pair known as C1 Atlas and C2 Axis, these two work together to allow the head its various rotations.
The lower most vertebra, C7 features the longest spinous process and is the nub we can see at the napes of our neck. This is a landmark for where the neck ends and the Thoracic region of the spine starts (to be modelled next!).
