More model informationMarian or plague column in Marz. The column originally stood on the old main square and was moved to Ambrosius Salzer Square when the square in front of the church was redesigned in 1968. It was built after the plague epidemic in 1713 and features a relief depiction of St. Kajetan on the square base. On a cover plate - St. Sebastian on the left and St. Roch on the right - there is a tall Corinthian column in the middle with the figure of the Eisenstadt miraculous image. The foundation inscription is inscribed on the back of the base.
