More model informationThe Market Rows consisting of 85 stalls were constructed at the Bazaar Square (nowadays known as Torgova Square) in the town of Bila Tserkva by the town owner F.K. Branytskyi between 1809 and 1814, according to the design by architect Luigi Rusca. The buildings facing the square housed the shops, while the ones facing the inner courtyard contained storage facilities, some of which were in basements. The trading rows became the focal point of development for the so-called “new town” that emerged around Torgova Square.
