Perseverance rover cored this sample from the Rochette outcrop near the Seitah region of Jezero Crater floor, Mars. This tube is called Montdenier and rests in the Three Forks Sample Depot awaiting Mars Sample Return. Montdenier is an igneous rock and the first successful core that Perseverances collected.
