Martian Terraformer

This model was made for my GAP exam in DAE-GGP. This was modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. Beauty shots were taken in Unreal Engine.

This machine is used for terraforming barren landscapes to make plants habitable, this one is used on Mars. It achieves it’s goal by planting and nurturing seeds to make the atmosphere breathable. It’s powered by renewable energy, equipped with solar panels and some extra back-up batteries. It’s containers store water to water the plants. A refueling point is added for when it runs out of it’s liquid. The Terraformer uses it’s four legs to navigate the rocky and sandy terrain of this planet, able to get itself out of tricky scenarios when stuck. The project was launched by EdenCore, hoping to inhabit other planets as a back-up plan for Earth, and for their own profit as well.
