Marton Church

A 12th century waffle and timber church in Marton, near Congleton. It is situated on an elevated mound, potentially in alignment with the Bridestones tomb. This area also has the Somerford long barrow, an unexplored monument 107m long (comparable to West Kennett Long Barrow yet far less known).
