I made this with someone in mind, but at the same time I wanted it to be for anybody else that has lost someone close to them.
Day of the Dead starts today (it’s not actually just one day, but until November 2nd) and in Mexican culture it’s when we remember and honor our dead, not in a sad way but in a festive way since we invite them to come visit us. During the festivities we visit their graves and we make their favorite dishes, we play their music, and offer things they liked. It’s way more than this but I’m not good at talking about it, although it’s my favorite Mexican tradition as you can probably see by other 3D things I’ve made; so I invite you to read a bit more about it if you’re interested. I’m not catholic and I don’t follow any religion, but this tradition goes further than that.
