More model information茅湖山觀測台喺香港西貢將軍澳茅湖山上面，行山人士同街坊都叫茅湖廢堡，確實起嘅年份已無從稽考，但從而家嘅歷史文獻中估計，建築物早喺1898年英國租借新界前已經起咗，推測係清朝佛堂洲海關嘅觀測台，用嚟觀測佛堂門航道之用。

On Mau Wu Shan rests a military relic, Mau Wu Shan Bunker. The historic Building, which overlooks Tseung Kwan O as well as Sai Kung, is said to have been built during the Qing Dynasty to observe the maritime movement.
The site is currently fenced for protection, so ground photography is not viable. This model is constructed with drone photos, as a first attempt for this site.
