This tooth was scanned using microCT. The 3D model created after scan reconstruction was edited (smoothing and cleaning) in Meshlab. If you look at the distal aspect of the palatal surface of the crown, you might be able to make out a slight interruption groove. This interruption groove becomes more prominent on the distopalatal aspect of the root.
